Melissa Barone began her career through an extensive educational program at the Toni & Guy Academy. Upon graduation, she continued to work as an assistant at Toni & Guy Newport Beach, where she trained under notable stylist James Morrison. It was here where she was able to learn advanced haircutting, different color techniques and advance her career as a stylist.

 

Shortly after, Melissa permanently relocated to Los Angeles and was hired in the heart of Beverly Hills. She was able to make great progress towards her career, networked with best of best and build her portfolio amongst elite clientele.

 

Melissa is known for her natural approach to hair color. She views each new client as a masterpiece waiting to happen. That's why she takes the time to create a customized color solution that positively accentuates the face and complements the skin. Melissa gives blondes sun kissed strands and the locks of brunettes warmth and dimensions. In addition to color and cutting, she has mastered the Brazilian Blowout, with the end result in smooth, shiny, and conditioned healthy hair.

 

Melissa uses a ancient French technique known as balayage, a coloring technique that emphasizes sweeping motions and a free style form of highlighting hair. This technique method allows her to finish highlights in as little as 15 minutes.

 

Whether she creates customized color using foil technique and or balayage method, each client leaves her chair to fit their own individuality and personality. Her talent and her passion for color continues to earn her a high profile following in Los Angeles.
